Using Reports for Bulk Analysis

Holly's Reports feature lets you run AI-powered analyses across all of your specs at once, so you can quickly identify compliance gaps, flag potential issues, and generate data for reporting — without reviewing specs one by one.

Available Report Types

Holly offers the following report types. The reports available to you may vary depending on your jurisdiction and configuration.

  • Driver's License Requirement Analysis — Reviews each spec to determine whether a driver's license requirement is appropriate, missing, or unnecessary for the role.

  • FLSA Analysis — Classifies positions as likely exempt or non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and identifies the applicable exemption type (executive, administrative, professional, computer, outside sales, or highly compensated).

  • EEO-4 Report — Categorizes positions into standard EEO-4 job categories and government functions to support federal reporting requirements.

  • Equity & Bias Language Analysis — Scans spec language for potential gender bias, biased language, accessibility concerns, and unfair requirements that could discourage qualified applicants.

  • Salary Data Report — Compiles salary data across selected specs for benchmarking and compensation analysis. Results can be exported for use in external tools.

  • Position Description Questionnaire (PDQ) Report — Compares your specs against contract language to evaluate how well position descriptions align with negotiated agreements.

  • AB 339 Analysis(California jurisdictions only) Evaluates specs for compliance with California AB 339, which requires 45 days' written notice before implementing changes to employee job descriptions in certain contexts. Compares current specs against contract text to identify potential compliance gaps.

Running a Report

  1. Navigate to the Reports page from the top navigation.

  2. Click Start report.

  3. Select a report type from the dropdown.

  4. Depending on the report type, you may need to provide additional information:

    • Driver's License, FLSA, EEO-4, and Equity & Bias Language reports run automatically across all specs — no additional input is needed.

    • Salary Data Report — Enter a report title and select which specs you'd like to include in the analysis.

    • PDQ Report and AB 339 Analysis — Enter a report title and either paste your contract text directly or upload a PDF of the contract document.

  5. Click Run Report. Holly's AI will analyze the relevant specs and generate your results. Depending on the number of specs, this may take a few minutes.

Understanding Your Results

Once a report is complete, you'll see a summary stats section at the top with an overview of findings, followed by a detailed table with results for each spec.

Navigating Results

Every report includes the following tools for working with your results:

  • Search — Find specific specs by name within the report.

  • Sort — Click column headers to sort results (e.g., by status, flag, or score).

  • Filter — Use the filter options to narrow results to specific categories. Available filters vary by report type (see below).

  • Hover for details — Hover over values in the results table to see additional context, such as AI-generated justifications and reasoning.

  • Export — Click the export button to download your results for use in spreadsheets or other tools.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Reports

  • Start with the summary stats at the top of each report to understand the overall picture before diving into individual specs.

  • Use filters to prioritize — for example, filter an Equity & Bias Language report to "Review Needed" to focus on the specs that need the most attention.

  • Export your results to share findings with stakeholders or to incorporate into broader HR reporting workflows.

  • Re-run reports periodically as you update specs, to track progress and ensure ongoing compliance.
