📊 Internal Compression Analysis
Analyze salary progression within job series to ensure proper internal equity! Holly now automatically calculates and displays percentage differences in salary between consecutive grade levels (e.g., Administrative Analyst I vs II vs III) for minimum, midpoint, and maximum salaries. You can also edit which specifications belong to which series directly in the platform.
How to use it: Navigate to the Internals tab for any specification.
📝 Redesigned Specification Creation Experience
We've completely reimagined how you create specifications with more flexibility and built-in change tracking.
Create with AI or start from your draft: Build new specs with AI assistance and optionally upload supporting PDFs (rough drafts, PDQs, interview notes, related specs) for better context. Or skip AI entirely and upload an existing draft as a PDF - Holly will parse it into an editable format within your jurisdiction's template.
Track changes from day one: All newly created specs now track changes from their baseline version - if you started from draft, it will use the uploaded draft as the baseline; if you started with AI, it will use the initially generated version as the baseline.
How to use it: Click "Create spec" and choose "Build with AI" (with optional file uploads) or "Start from draft" to upload an existing PDF. Use the "Show edits" toggle in the editor to view tracked changes.
🔄 Refresh Comparisons Button
Instantly recalculate your benchmark comparisons from scratch with a single click! We've added a refresh button that completely regenerates your comparison table using the latest data and current similarity algorithms.
When you refresh, Holly generates a brand new set of comparisons that:
Recalculates similarity matches based on the latest benchmark data
Clears any manual toggles you've made
Starts fresh without preserving notes from the previous comparison
How to use it: Look for the refresh button in your comparisons view. Before refreshing, export your current comparison data if you want to preserve previous matches, toggle states, or notes - the refresh generates a completely new comparison.

[🔗 Benchmarks] Added Sources tab when viewing benchmark specifications. Access direct links to the original specification, salary schedule, and MOU (where available) all in one place for thorough compensation research.
[✏️ Editor] Toggle track changes directly in the document editor. View what's changed compared to the published version while you're editing - no need to navigate to a separate modal / screen. Click "Show edits" in the editor toolbar to see additions (green) and deletions (red strikethrough) inline.
[📄 Export] Export benchmark specifications as Word documents. Quickly create formatted Word docs of comparator specs for sharing with stakeholders or offline review.
[📋 Analysis] One-click copy for analysis sections. Quickly copy content from any analysis section (duties, qualifications, etc.) to paste into reports or other documents without manual selection.
[🔧 Infrastructure] Integrated LangSmith for AI monitoring and reliability. This behind-the-scenes enhancement helps us track, debug, and continuously improve all AI-powered features through better observability and systematic testing.

[🔐 Authentication] Added show/hide password toggle on login page. Click the eye icon to verify your password as you type, reducing login errors.
[🔐 Settings] Added confirm password field when changing your password in settings. This prevents accidental password changes from typos by requiring you to enter your new password twice.
[⚡ Generation] Class spec generation now shows realistic progress indicators so you know exactly what's happening and how long to expect.
[⚡ Platform] Updated loading spinners throughout the platform for a more consistent experience.
