To create a new job specification in Holly:

Click the "Create New" button and select from "Build with AI" or "Start from scratch"

You can save drafts and return to edit them before finalizing.

New drafts you created: Yes, you can delete draft specifications that haven't been finalized. This will completely remove the spec from Holly.
Imported specifications: No, you cannot delete job specifications that have been imported into Holly. However, you can archive them to remove them from your active view while preserving the record.
π How often is data refreshed?
Holly refreshes salary and job description data quarterly, pulling in the latest class specs and salary data from all your peer comparators.
π― How are comparator jurisdictions determined?
Comparators are determined by the administrator on your classification and compensation team in your Holly instance, typically in line with your jurisdiction's classification policy.
If you have questions about which jurisdictions are included as comparators, contact your team lead on the Holly deployment or reach out to the Holly team for more information.
π What if a suggested match isn't actually a good comparison for my spec?
If a suggested match isn't a good comparison, you have a few options:
Toggle the individual comparison off. This leaves the comparison information in your table as a record to show that you considered the comparison, and you can also add a note to share more information about why it's not a good match.
Remove the comparison from your table - the remove comparison button can be found by clicking the drop-down button to the left side of the row for the spec comparison. This does NOT remove the comparator from Holly's data - it simply removes the comparator from the table.
This ensures you maintain your professional expertise and judgment in the benchmarking process.
β Why isn't a position I'm looking for showing up in comparisons?
There are a few possible reasons:
The similarity score is below 70% (the default threshold)
The position may be titled or described very differently in other jurisdictions, causing it to not surface in the initial matching process
You can manually add the position using the "Add Comparison" feature. If you consistently find positions that should match but don't, let your Holly team know so they can refine the matching algorithm.

Currently, you cannot edit salary data directly in Holly. The Holly team is working on this feature.
